“This is just a short note to say thank you to you and your fellow musicians in the Eden Valley Ceilidh Band for your excellent performance. I think you could tell on the night you were dealing with a bunch of very enthusiastic novice ceilidh dancers, but you did an excellent job of marshalling us into some semblance of order and provided great entertainment to both the participants and audience! I’d happily recommend your band to anyone who enjoys excellent musicianship and who wants to have a lot of fun.”
Tony Preedy, Marketing Director, Lakeland
“The Eden Valley Ceilidh Band provided the perfect start to the Stepping Stones Festival with a series of catchy tunes that swiftly persuaded people to step onto the floor to learn new dance steps, encouraged by 2 excellent callers. The atmosphere in the festival hall was so lively that no-one even noticed the howling storm raging outside for most of the evening. Happily the remainder of the festival was dry except of course for the delicious Geltsdale Festival Ale!”
Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span)
“I had the most wonderful evening. You were all so flexible about the timing and EVERYONE was talking about the great ceilidh band. The night really flew by. . . . . .I shall recommend you to everyone - as will the party guests I'm sure.”
Sue, Port Carlisle
